Brown Sugar Air Fryer Sweet Potato Cubes

These brown sugar air fryer sweet potato cubes are simply delicious! Chunks of tender sweet potatoes are lightly seasoned to create the ultimate side dish that is perfect with any main meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes I used 2, ~6.5 oz sweet potatoes
  • ½ tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar optional
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. If you don't have a preheat function you can set your air fryer to the desired temperature and let it run for ~5 minutes.
  • Scrub potatoes and cut them into ~1” bite-sized pieces/cubes.
  • Place potatoes into a bowl and toss to coat with melted butter.
  • Now, add brown sugar and cinnamon to your butter coated potatoes and toss to coat again.
  • Place potatoes in the basket of an air fryer and cook for a total of 13 minutes, shaking once halfway through.
  • Serve warm!

Notes

Savory Variation: If you prefer something savory, rather than sweet, you can swap out the brown sugar and use a blend of your favorite seasonings instead. I recommend garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, or chili powder.
Serving: I highly encourage serving with a batch of copycat chick fil a sauce! Garnish with parsley if desired.
Storing: Keep your cooked sweet potatoes in an airtight container stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
