Almond Birds Nest Cookies
These gluten & dairy free cookies are as cute as they are delicious! They do double duty as an adorable, edible center piece!

Ingredients

cup
butter
softened
½
cup
sugar

eggs
1 ½
tsp
almond extract
½
tsp
vanilla extract
2 ½
cups
almond flour
packed

tsp
baking soda
1
package chocolate egg candies
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a spill mat or parchment paper, set side.
In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar.
Add in eggs and extracts, mixing well.
Next, add almond flour and baking soda to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, place ball of dough onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove cookies from oven and immediately press 3 chocolate egg candies into the center of each cookie.
Allow to cool
