Benefits Of Using A Journal
One of the most efficient ways to find a feel-good balance with your food choices is to journal. This is not a way to “log” or “track” but rather to reflect, allowing you to gain a better understanding of your choices, what feels good, and what doesn’t.
Journaling can be done in as simple of a way as grabbing a pen and paper (or, heck, even a napkin!) to jot down a reflection or you can use a more tech-savvy, convenient option, like an app.
Picking A Food Journal App
Most “food journal” apps are riddles with diet culture and wind up doing more harm than good by being too restrictive and reducing our ability to be in-tune with our bodies natural huger, fullness and satisfaction cues. These natural cues are the most efficient (and easiest!) way to find “balance” with your food choices and give your body the amount and types of nourishment that help it feel it’s best.
So, I created a non-diet journal to solve for this!
