So often, when discussing how they eat, people will declare themselves in one of two camps, I’m restrictive, or I binge—often swinging from one side of the pendulum to the other.
News flash: being a dietitian doesn’t always solve all your food issues. Sometimes, having all that information about how food works rolling around in your brain can lead to obsessive thoughts about …you guessed it, FOOD which can lead to binging and subsequently
guilt and shame you don’t feel you can share with anyone.
That was the experience of my guest today. But she faced it all down and is now living out her passion for helping and guiding others as a member of the SociEATy team.
